The Media Informatics course at the newly founded Faculty of Computer Science comprises a mix of information technology, psychology and business administration. When analyzing human-technology interaction, detailed interviews with users need to be conducted on a regular basis. Instead of time-consuming manual transcriptions, the department uses the Voice Pro speech recognition from Linguatec for automatic media transcription, achieving considerable efficiency gains.
