Around 45,000 employees ensure that Munich runs smoothly. As Germany’s largest municipal employer, the City of Munich offers a wide range of services for its citizens. The city administration consists of 15 departments to fulfill its diverse tasks.
The sustainable and inclusive digitalisation of city administration is a key priority. This also includes providing staff with the best possible technical support in carrying out their diverse tasks. Digital sovereignty plays a decisive role in the selection of software. To this end, a sovereignty check for systematic review was developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
After intensive testing and evaluation, Linguatec’s speech recognition software was selected to make employees even more productive when dictating and transcribing meetings.
