here are my comments on the book. Not a classic, but it was entertaining.
Before I say anything else, I will tell you that I DID enjoy this book. However it’s not one of his best.
This book also deals with another monumental world crisis. This time, the Japanese are the ‘Bad Guys’ as they launch a war of aggression against Russia. What we get is all standard stuff, like meticulous attention to detail and disgusting battle scenes. However, the story DOES seem to peter out in some places or go nowhere and doesn’t really reward the effort needed. However, if you’ve enjoyed the previous books, you will probably like this one also. To summarise, it’s not in the same category as the ‘Hunt For Red October’ but it’s not bad.

Was wir bekommen, ist alles Standardzeug wie peinlich genaues Augenmerk auf Details und widerliche Kampfszenen. Jedoch scheint die Geschichte sich an einigen Stellen zu verlieren oder nirgendwohin zu gehen und belohnt die erforderliche Bemühung nicht wirklich. Jedoch, wenn Sie die vorherigen Bücher genossen haben, mögen Sie diese wahrscheinlich auch. Um zusammenzufassen, ist es nicht in derselben Kategorie wie die ‘Suche nach dem roten Oktober’, aber er ist nicht schlecht.
